Almost done the yard
OK.......... as usual our summer has been busy with working on the St. George house. This year we did the yard, or most of it anyway. But to refresh memories, here are some pictures of the back yard before we did the work...............................................
Next year we will finish up with putting plants in the new planter and rocks around the shed and hot tub.......
Now look at the front. Much brighter and nicer!!!!
Thanks again Tom for working so hard and having a vision that you have made come to life.
Now, here are some of the pictures after a summer of hard work on the back yard. Much better don't you think????????

WHAT A MESS!!!!!!!!!
Well as usual I uploaded my pictures in the wrong order so we'll just do this from the ending to the beginning.
When we were in Florida it rained and rained!! Leah told me when we left so did the rain and that's because we brought it home with us.
The Thursday after we got home, it rained and rained and flooded our office...........WHAT A MESS........
This is a picture from today where the water line was before we got it all cleaned up. A couple of inches doesn't seem like much but what a mess it made!
The office is now put back together but from all the following pictures you'll see that even though it is a little messy it looks better then it did over the weekend.
With a couple of inches of water in the office, in the closet, running into the room where the water heater is, down the all and the hall closet and into the closet in the room Sariah is staying in we had to move things anywhere we could, the hall carpet was pulled up only at one end so the other end got stuff placed in it,
THANKS TOM FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room where Kamden and Merric sleep was full of file cabinets and papers etc......
good thing they weren't here this weekend! We had to replace the carpet pad everywhere it got wet so Tom was super busy all weekend, carpet pad, base boards, yucky sheet rock etc.....
But when we were almost all done we took a break and rode our Harley's up to Brighton and took a walk around the lake. It was a beautiful day . It only took us 3 straight days of working but we are all back together, but WHAT A MESS it was...........................

Florida - Welcome Benjamin
On August 8th 2010 Tom and I flew to Florida to tend Timmy, Tommy and James while Leah had her fourth boy Benjamin.
We had quite an adventure starting with my hair. This picture is in Salt Lake City as we were waiting to board our plane and it is the only picture where my hair is not frizzy and out of control. Benjamin was born on Monday the 8th of August at about 8:30 in the morning weighing around 8 lbs 13 oz. Tom enjoyed holding him when he could.
Tim will make a great big brother. He was excited about holding his new baby brother.
Tom spent most of his time playing with the boys, first on the trampoline and then with the WII.
It rained a ton the week we were there so we didn't get to go many places but we did have a couple of clear days. Tom and I took the boys to the light house where we climbed all the way to the top. It was a beautiful view!
We climbed lots of stairs! This is from the top looking down.
On Friday we finally got to go to the beach. It was so nice! The water was warm and the waves not very big so Tim and I played on the shore, (his favorite place to be. He builds sand castles and gets one shovel full of water at a time in his bucket. He walks clear to the water and carries the shovel full back to his bucket. It was fun to watch him.)
Tom helped the boys catch waves on their boogie boards. Tommy loved to do it but hated getting his head wet. They both caught a couple of good waves and went pretty far.
Saturday evening, after a great b-b-q dinner that Steve cooked, Tom and Steve had fun with the boys on the Trampoline with the sprinkler going under the tramp.
Good times for all!! James really caught some air.............
On Sunday Steve took Tom and I to a hotel in Orlando so we could catch our flight home on Monday. We spent 6 hours in the airport before our flight. Thank goodness it is like a mall in the Orlando airport. We had much to see.

BENDON, CRESCENT CITY, CRATER LAKE
There are so many historical markers in Oregon that we thought we should get one in a picture before we left the state so we did...........
Then we spent a night in Bendon and it was another beautiful place. It was once again really windy so Tom was holding on tight at the boardwalk so he wouldn't blow away.
Off to Crescent City California. It was interesting to see the lush green end as you left Oregon but Crescent City has its own beauty.
There is another light house across that water and around the bend there in Crescent City but once the tide rolls in you can't go across.
We visited a place called Mystery of the trees. They had huge trees and a Paul Bunion tribute someone had carved and a gondola ride to the top of a mountain. We took that and then hiked down.
These trees were sooooooo big! it was amazing to see!

On our way home we went up Grants pass and really enjoyed the beauty there. We ran into a lady who took our pictrue for a book she is writing on road trippers. She was fun and interesting to talk to.
We went to Crater lake and WOW......................Have never seen so much beauty. Still had snow up there but it was no amazing.
After Crater lake we passed through Klammoth Falls and then to Winnamucca and home. What a journey!!!! I have the best husband of all. Thanks for the wonderful time Tom... I love you!

Oregon Road Trip - CHEESE FACTORY AND NEWPORT
We were off again to Newport and this was the first time we had the chance to go for a long walk along the beach. The sky was blue but the winds were blowing like mad and they were quite cold. Our hotel was on the waters front and it was beautiful.
That evening in Newport was the 4th of July and we went to the bridge in the town, where everyone gathered, and watched a beautiful fireworks display. What a sight it was from way up high. I forgot my camera so this picture is from my phone. The next day we traveled to the cheese factory and we enjoyed a 3 cheese Jalapeno sandwich. It was the best we had ever had. We had wonderful ice cream and the stopped to take our pictures at this beautiful display they had inside the store.
A nice young man offered to take our picture together for us and when he had I said (not meaning it in a bad way) " Ok do you want me to do you now?" His face turned red and I had to rephrase that by saying, "Sorry, would you like me to take your picture now?" We laughed so hard because Tom and I were in our leathers and the whole situation was so funny. They guy turned red and I'm glad he laughed also. So did the girl with him.
Oregon Road Trip -SEAL CAVES AREA
After HAYSTACK ROCK we stopped down the coast a way at Seal Cave. It would have cost us $25.00 to go down in to a smelly cave to see all the seals so we chose to just enjoy the beauty of the area from above. The Seals were in the water below us but they looked like logs of poop so we didn't take any pictures of them.
This was our first nicer day. It wasn't to cold and the sky was a little blue.
The light house was just across from the caves and it was magnificent to see. Such a beautiful area.
