OK, got it and we are ready to go. The weather was pretty good for the long ride. We arrived at St. George at about 8:00 p.m. and just rested and slept for the night........The next morning we got up and needed food soooo.... off to the store we went. We were just going to get a couple of things but you know how it goes. When we went back out to the bike we wondered.... would it all fit???????
Yep, it did and we were happy to get back and eat.

When we got to the front gate we discovered we were not the only people going through the park that day....
But the wait is alway worth it at this beautiful place!!!
We like the checker board area of the park. It has such an interesting look.Believe it or not it started to rain that day so we headed back to St. George for the rest of the evening. We went to see Wall E at the movies the afternoon before so we saw Kung Fu Panda that night.
On Sunday we headed out again and what a ride!!! We first went through Zion again on our way to Kanab.... We saw beautiful spring flowers on the cactus plants along the way
This man rides a 3 wheeled motorcycle and takes his dog with him. His dog has goggles, hat and vest. It was really cute to see...

After our brief stop here we headed out towards the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Keep in mind that it was 103 in St George that day.
Our next stop was at the Glen Canyon Dam at Lake Powell. What a wonderful place. I can see 
Why so many people like to visit there. We met a group of about 15 bikers that were from Arkansas on their way to Canada and then down the coast. It will tak them about 2 weeks to do their ride.
I'm sure glad I am not too concerned about my hair and make up!!!!
