The kids had no problems enjoying the back yard swings and playing with each other that evening.
They also love the pond. Rozzie was having a great time with Grandpa...
We keep a big pot of rocks (Rozzie is reaching into it) next to the pond so that the kids can throw them in. When they are all gone, I get them all back out and fill the pot again for the next time around.
The kids had been playing outside most of the morning and we told them that they had to let us take their picture before they could get lunch. Tim (on the far left) didn't like the idea at all. He was balling and Kamden (in the middle) kept looking at Bianca who was in Cierra's lap. Rozzie (on the far right) didn't like the idea either. She is a little shy at first and she wasn't sure of all those other kids she was with. But, not a bad picture, at least I don't think so anyway.Leah kept herself and the boys quite busy while they were here. They spent some time in Roy visiting friends, they attended 3 days of the Grammer family reunion, they went to the Primary Day activity in our ward and they spent time with her sisters and thier children. The kids loved playing together. We had a nice picnic at Liberty park on the Sunday before they left and then went to Temple Square. A very nice time. But, the best time was when the boys helped Tom wash our motorcycles before our 4th of July trip. They were really excited for him to come home so they could help him that evening. They did a great job.......

Thanks for the help boys!!!! Thanks for the memories Leah. It was GREAT to have you here. We enjoyed that time so much. Come again when you can. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!
river below. We walked out to the middle of the bridge and the river was green as far as you could see in either direction. WEIRD!!!!
We stopped at the Jacobs Lake are and had lunch and met some people that were traveling from Connecticut, the same area that Tom went to high school in. In fact, Tom graduate with the man's sister. We talked to them for about 45 minutes as we had lunch and started off to the rim of the Grand Canyon...... We were within 18 miles from the rim and the rest of those clouds rolled in.
We stopped and put on our rain gear and headed out again but to our surprise this storm came in hard. It dropped to 45 degrees and started hailing and raining hard!!!! It hurts as it is coming down fast and hard and you are traveling fast on a motorcycle. We went as far as we coul until our glasses steamed up and we could hardly see because of the storm and we had to turn back, yet again. Back at Jabocs Lake we got a head of the storm and started back to St. George again. WHAT A RIDE!!! It was great and BEAUTIFUL!!!! The Lord sure has made a wonderful planet for us to live on and enjoy!!
And then you get to Cedar Breaks it looks like a mini Bryce Canyon.....
After that we went down through Panguitch to visit with our very good friends Bruce and Joleen Hatch. While we waited for Joleen to get off work Tom and Bruce had fun with the men that sat outside the store.
I never see Tom Smile quite as big or have as much fun as he does with his good friend Burce!!!!

OK, got it and we are ready to go. The weather was pretty good for the long ride. We arrived at St. George at about 8:00 p.m. and just rested and slept for the night........
Yep, it did and we were happy to get back and eat.
When we got to the front gate we discovered we were not the only people going through the park that day....
But the wait is alway worth it at this beautiful place!!!
We like the checker board area of the park. It has such an interesting look.

After our brief stop here we headed out towards the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Keep in mind that it was 103 in St George that day.
Our next stop was at the Glen Canyon Dam at Lake Powell. What a wonderful place. I can see

Why so many people like to visit there. We met a group of about 15 bikers that were from Arkansas on their way to Canada and then down the coast. It will tak them about 2 weeks to do their ride.
First we stopped to fill up with gas ( it costs as much to fill up our 2 bikes as it use to cost to fill up our truck). Eliza rode on the back of Tom's bike, I am still learning how to have a passanger. It is harder then it seems!!
