Bella

For any of you who have seen the movie "UP", this should make you laugh.
Eliza's dog has had some surgery and needs to have a "Cone of Shame" on for the next couple of weeks.
Eliza sent me a text telling me that every time she looks at Bella it makes her feel guilty because of the movie "UP"  The dogs in the movie have to put on the "Cone of Shame" for punishment and Bella looks so sad with this on.  Plus, Bella likes to practice Yoga while she is resting.  Notice her legs are up in the air.
Get better Bella.

Dogs

We still have a Robin who likes to knock at our windows every day, all day long.
Here are my dogs waiting for him to knock again.
They bark and get so excited even though they can't see him.
This Robin has been at this since Thanksgiving.

Animals

I love my backyard!  I woke up to these beautiful creatures eating the berries off the tree just outside my office sliding door.  They were in the yard for at least 20 minutes.  My dogs were wanting to get out there and chase them but wouldn't let them.  Enjoy

NOW A BROKEN FOOT!

Well, 1 week after Tom saw the doctor for the last time about his elbow, and the doctor gave him the OK to use his arm again without any reservations,

Tom broke his foot.
Life just keeps happening..

He didn't just break his foot, he spiral brook the long bone in the foot that connects to the pinkie toe.

The purple toes got quite swollen and much darker purple.  He has tried his best to stay off his foot but that is almost impossible when you work everyday.  He did take off about 2 hours to have his foot exrayed and to get the half cast on, but then it was back to work.
Yesterday they told him that the bone didn't move so he could use a walking boot and that surgery probably wasn't necessary.  I am sooooo glad for that!
THANK YOU TOM FOR WORKING SO HARD, EVEN WITH A BROKEN FOOT.  LOVE YOU

Tom's Surgery

Well, we finally finished the yard in St. George.  Tom and I moved 9 tons of this beautiful red rebel rock to cover the front and part of the back and side yards.  We also planed 15 Oliander Bushes and 16 pots of flowers that have thier own bubbler system to them.  I am so glad it is done and I think it looks great.  This is the new front door area

This is the old frond door area.  Big difference!  It looks GREAT NOW!!!

Tom had arm surgery this past Wednesday and was not happy when he came out with a cast on his whole arm.  He thought he would just have a half cast... but not so.... he has a full cast and will have it on for 2 weeks.  When they check the area of the surgery they are going to cut a piece of the cast off but won't remove the cast for another week.  This will be interesting since he only scheduled himself 4 days off for recovering from this.  Rodney will be working with him and his full shcedule for the next couple of weeks.   I hope this was all worth it and that his elbow works well with no pain after he gets this off.
I love you Tom!
