SURGERY AGAIN!!!!!

Well, getting older has not been as fun for Tom as he would like it to be. After using his body as a carpenter for almost 20 years he is finding out that carpentry was hard on him.
He wasn't as excited to get up and go to the Tosh Surgical Center as he would have been to get up and go to work ..... but that's the way it goes.
Good thing he has a gun personality!!!! He makes every situation fun for everyone.
The surgery was at 8:00 a.m. and he was out by 8:30 a.m. and we were home by 9:45 a.m.

Unfortunately they didn't put him all the way under so he had his regular energy all day long and he answered the business phone, I took him on one call about a pool that had turned a beautiful color of Green ( for St. Patricks Day). But, in the afternoon he started getting a little tired and he rested. His elbow should be just fine and hopefully he won't have any pain anymore.

WAITING FOR THE RECITAL

When we arrived at Riverton Music in Taylorsville we had to wait for about 15 minutes before the recital was to begin. Brock was being very patient as he sat with Carolyn...

Cierra was happy and ready to play.......Everyone was waiting patiently until Carolyn told Breein she needed to be quiet and not talk during the recital.

Anyone who knows Breen knows she is an wonderful pouter....
and boy oh boy did she pout.
She wouldn't even look up for a picture..
She kept her head down for so long then Eliza
got her to sit on her lap and things started to improve She was very quiet during the recital and I am very proud of her for that.
But............as soon as the recital was over and we went to Applebees for dinner she was her happy self.

Dinner was great and the evening was wonderful. Good job Cierra in your recital and good job Breein and Brock for sitting quietly. We love you all!!!!!!!!!!!11

THE DAY OF HER RECITAL

Cierra spent the afternoon of the day of her recital relaxing and playing while her sister and brother went shopping with Eliza. She was calm and collected, not nervous about her evening recital at all.
First she played with the little people "Using my imagination is good for me" she said. "Besides, it's fun to play by myself".

After that she gave a shot at playing bowling on the Wii. She thought that was great!!! She is a good bowler.

(Almost All) Family Dinner

We had our monthly birthday-family dinner this past Sunday and it was very nice. It will be my dad's birthday and Brants this month so we celibrated while we were all together. The cake doesn't look very good in this picture but it was soooooo yummy!!!!! It is a german chocolate cake with condensed milk and carmel drizzled on top with a cream cheese and cool whip frosting. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(My friend Susan gave the recipe to me)

We had Corned Beef, Cabbage and potatoes with rolls and cake. Lyn enjoyed holding Boone. Lynn is due in June. How exciting is that!!!!!

HYRUMS' FAMILY

Hyrum and family dropped in for a night just a couple of weeks ago and it sure was nice to see them.
Bianca sure loves her Aunt Eliza and Eliza sure loves her!
A couple of beautiful girls.....

We were just visiting before bedtime and catching up on everything that is going on. Notice the vacuum handle between Christa dna Hyrum. It has been there for a couple of days. I haven't been able to vacuum becuase I keep having people come and visit but that is ok. It will still be there when I get around to it. It was great to have them come and see us!!!
