Christmas Celebration!!!

SORRY FOR THE FUZZY PICTURES BUT THAT'S HOW IT GOES SOMETIMES...
Christmas eve day was wonderful!!! The grandkids got to come over for most of the day.
We had a great time making grahm cracker houses.
The kids would dip their grahm crackers into some chocolate and try to make the sides stand up together to form the base, then they worked on geting their house tops on.
That took a little help from the moms.

After we finally got the houses together the kids took the candy and vary carefully put it on their houses in just the right place. They didn't want any help with the candy. They each had an idea and they wanted to do it themselves.. They would carefully find just the right place for each piece. Merric even had a gummy worm as a slide coming off his house. What an imagination!!

Kamden never did get his house done but he sure injoyed dipping his grahm crackers into the chocolate and eating them!!

They all did a great job on thier houses and they were really proud.

GREAT JOB KIDS!!!

After all the dads and grandpa got home from work we had a great dinner that everyone helped with and then the kids acted out the night Jesus was born.
Cierra wes Mary,( a stuffed bear was the baby Jesus because I don't have any dolls at my house anymore except for barbies ) Kamden was Joseph in the brown gown, Merric was our wiseman, he is in blue and Brocka and Breein were our shepherds.

It was interesting how quiet they fot while they were acting this out,

because before and after they were full of energy and excitement.................

When it skit was over it was time for gifts. We are so glad everyone could come. It was great to have most of our children and greandchildren in our home at the same time. We miss you Hyrum, Christa and Bianca and Leah, Steve, Timmy, Tommy and James. We love you!!

Merry Christmas everyone.

Getting into the holdiay spirit

Merry Christmss everyone. We hope you all had a wonderful day with family and friends. We had a wonderful Christmas this year.
We started about 3 weeks earlier by decorating the tree........

Great Grandma and I put the hooks on all those glass balls so the kids could hang them up. The kids were so excited!!

Ever so carefully the put the orniments on the tree looking around to find just the right spot for each one.

Aunt Eliza helped with the ones that needed to go way up high.

Kamden just stood and looked at the tree when we were all done.

His favorite part is the musical snowmen great grandma brings out each Christmas. He presses the button and plays the music over and over and over again and again.......

This was so fun to do and it got us all in the holiday spirit.

ELIZA TURNS 24!!!

December 21st was Elizas birthday. Since that was a Sunday we went out to celebrate on Saturday the 20th. We went to her favorite Sushi bar and had a really good meal and a really fun time.

It isn't very often that Carolyn gets to join us but this night Brant was home to tend the kids and she came, along with Great Grandma,
Laralyn, Sariah and myself. We had a great time. Happy Birthay Eliza and Congratulations for passing all your hard classes this semester. We are so proud of you!!!

Special Day with Grandma

Merric and Kamden earned 15 chips for being good and helping around the house which earned them a day with Grandma.
Kamden got to go first. We went to the Build a Bear workshop and he picked out an elephant to make. He was brave to step on the stepper that made the stuffing go inside his elephant. He had a great time.

After making the elephant we went and got a cookie. Can you tell if he liked it or not?

Then it was Merrics turn. He picked out a dog. He was brave enough to step on the stepper that put the stuffing into his bear and then he picked out a heart, jumped 4 times, kissed the heart and put it into the dog. He thought that was great. Then we took it over to the special washer and gave him his first bath.
We had a great time.
Thanks boys for being so good. I had so much fun !

Dad's new adventure

Everyone knows that Grandpa Garside has been having another adventure in his life and I thought I would post a couple of pictures for all to see. The first one is his new laugh line on his face. This next one is what he does for radiation everyday. He gets on the table and they put on this wonderful mask that has special eye shields and they bolt his head to the tabel. It only takes a few seconds but it is interesting to see how they do it.All in all he seems to be doing well and that is good. We wish you all the best Dad. Love you!!
